Menitik pada dedikasi seorang ibu, ibu adalah wanita yang memainkan peran penting tidak hanya dalam keluarga, tetapi juga dalam membangun bangsa. Ibu memiliki tugas mulia dimana ia melahirkan, menyusi, merawat dan membesarkan putra putrinya dengan penuh kasih dan ketulusan. Tanggung jawab besar lainnya yakni dalam membentuk karakter generasi penerus, ibulah yang menjadi pendidik pertama untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral, etika, dan cinta tanah air kepada anak-anaknya. Selain itu, ibu juga mampu menjalankan peran ganda sebagai pelaku ekonomi, mendukung keluarga namun tetap menjaga keharmonisan dalam keluarga. Banyak perempuan Indonesia, termasuk para ibu, telah membuktikan diri sebagai pemimpin, pengusaha, dan pejuang di berbagai bidang yang turut memajukan bangsa. Dedikasi mereka melampaui batasan, melahirkan inovasi, serta memberikan inspirasi bagi masyarakat luas. Dalam sejarah perjuangan Indonesia, kiprah perempuan, seperti R.A. Kartini dan Dewi Sartika, menunjukkan bahwa ibu adalah pilar kebangkitan bangsa. Saat ini, peran ibu terus berkembang, termasuk dalam membangun kesadaran sosial, pendidikan, dan pemberdayaan komunitas. Pengorbanan seorang ibu sangat besar, meski sering tak terlihat.
Semarang, 22 Desember 2024 – Dalam semangat kebangsaan dan penghormatan kepada perempuan Indonesia, SMK Negeri 11 Semarang menggelar upacara peringatan Hari Ibu Nasional dengan khidmat. Upacara yang berlangsung di lapangan Krida Khsetra diikuti oleh seluruh warga sekolah yakni siswa, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan dengan penuh rasa hormat dan cinta terhadap ibu, sebagai sosok yang menjadi pilar kehidupan. Upacara dimulai pukul 07.00 WIB dengan iringan lagu kebangsaan “Indonesia Raya” yang dikumandangkan oleh tim paduan suara mengiringi Sang Merah Putih berkibar di angkasa . Ibu Muryani, S.Pd. bertindak sebagai pembina upacara dan menyampaikan amanat yang menggugah hati. Dalam pidatonya, beliau mengutip kalimat puitis dari pahlawan wanita Indonesia, R.A. Kartini: “Saat gelap pekat melingkupi, yakinlah bahwa fajar akan menyingsing.” Pesan ini mengingatkan pada seluruh peserta upacara akan semangat juang dan pengorbanan kaum perempuan dalam membangun bangsa.
Pembina upacara juga membacakan teks pidato dari Menteri PPPA (Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak, dalam kutipan teks pidato tersebut berisi tentang Momentum bersejarah khususnya bagi kaum wanita. Salah satu hal penting perjuangan pergerakan perempuan di masa pra kemerdekaan dan menjadi tonggak sejarah tersendiri adalah ketika diselenggarakaannya Kongres Perempuan Indonesia Pertama, pada 22 Desember 1928, di Yogyakarta. Menilik pada sejarah perjuangan perempuan pada masa itu, maka pada tanggal 22 Desember 1959 oleh Presiden Soekarno, ditetapkannya Hari Ibu Nasional. Inilah yang membedakan Hari Ibu di Indonesia dengan peringatan “Mother’s Day” di beberapa negara di dunia. Dalam teks pidato Ibu Menteri juga menegaskan tentang kesetaraan gender antara perempuan dan laki laki, pergerakan perempuan dalam pembangunan, tidak terlepas dari dukungan semua pihak, baik pemerintah, akademisi dan profesional, dunia usaha, media massa, maupun masyarakat.
“Peringatan Hari Ibu adalah milik kita semua. Sebagai anak, sebagai istri, sebagai ibu, maupun sebagai teman seperjuangan, yang tidak lelah menjadi arti dimanapun berada.” Kutipan teks pidato menteri tersebut memiliki makna penting khususnya di SMK Negeri 11 Semarang bahwa peringatan Hari Ibu Nasional menjadi momentum penting untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kasih sayang, penghormatan, dan penghargaan terhadap perempuan. Dengan semangat Hari Ibu, sekolah berharap agar seluruh siswa dapat menjadi generasi yang tidak melupakan jasa ibu dan mampu menghargai peran perempuan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan berbangsa.
