Rabu, 21 Februari 2024 SMK Negeri 11 Semarang telah melaksanakan Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) bagi siswa kelas XII Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Grafika (DG) dan Produksi Grafika (PG). Ujian Praktik Kejuruan ini dilaksanan selama kurang lebih dua minggu yaitu 21 Februari hingga 6 Maret 2024.
Dalam kegiatan UKK yang diselenggarakan LSP P1 SMK Negeri 11 Semarang ini diikuti sebanyak 138 siswa Desain Grafika terbagi ke dalam 3 klaster dan 140 siswa Produksi Grafika terbagi ke dalam 4 klaster. Jumlah Asesor penguji untuk Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Grafika berjumlah 9 Asesor dan Asesor Produksi Grafika berjumlah 8 Asesor.
Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting penting dalam kelulusan peserta didik karena hasil UKK akan menjadi indikator pencapaian standar kompetensi kelulusan. Sertifikasi yang diperoleh juga dijadikan sumber informasi atas kompetensi yang dimiliki peserta didik.
Dalam pelaksanaan UKK Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 ini, peserta didik telah memenuhi beberapa tahapan sesuai yang dipersyaratkan oleh LSP SMK Negeri 11 Semarang, yaitu pengisian form APL 01, APL 02, persyaratan administrasi, dan penjadwalan pelaksanaan.
Tujuan yang paling utama dalam pelaksanaan UKK ini yaitu peserta didik mampu memperoleh Sertitikat Kompetensi sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya. Setelah peserta didik dinyatakan kompeten maka sertifikat kompetensi diberikan oleh Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Pihak Pertama (LSP-P1) SMK Negeri 11 Semarang yang diakui oleh Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP).
